Over a hundred villagers and friends gathered at Kitchenham Farm on 10th January for the Plough Sunday service put on jointly by the Chapel and St Peters Church, and led by Revd. Paul McVeagh and Revd. Roy Cole. Children and adults gathered around the plough and assorted tools, while prayers of thanks were said. There was a good turn out for the lunch in the barn too, and Michael Ramsden cooked a cracking beef casserole. Gill van der Meer said a few words about the Royal Agricultural Benevolence Institute for whom a collection of £330 was taken. Thanks to Monty and Amanda for their generosity in offering their barn for this community event.
