The Ponts Green half of Farthing Lane is likely to be closed until May following the collapse of the bridge in November. The other half is nigh impassable in freezing weather due to water running down the road. Louke Van Der Meer is clearing the ice with a tractor in the morning so that parents can take children to the school bus. What a hero!

We have made the difficult decision to cancel the planned bonfire and fireworks due to take place this Friday, 10th November due to the waterlogged field. We are sorry about this but don’t want to risk cars getting stuck!

The weather stayed dry for the Fair on Saturday 29th July. Huge thanks to all who helped and everyone who came along on the day. A total of £6,317 was raised from the Fair and Vintage Motorcycle Show, £4,737 for the New Village Hall Fund and £1,579 for the Kent, Surrey, Sussex Air Ambulance.
This Saturday! Come up to the Sports Field in Ashburnham from 1.30pm and enjoy all the attractions, stalls and refreshments on offer! We look forward to seeing you!
