St. Michael’s Penhurst

The charming little church of St. Michael the Archangel in Penhurst is next to the Manor House and dates from around 1340 with some later additions.

Our services use the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.

Services are conducted here at 9.15am every Sunday.

Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays we have Morning Prayer. Whenever there is a 5th Sunday the congregations at Ashburnham and Penhurst join together for a Joint Sunday Service, alternating between the two churches.

St Michael’s is open to visitors daily from 10 am to dusk.

Our Vicar (Priest-in-Charge) is Reverend Gary Cregeen (01424 612324)

Our Churchwardens are: Kim Shaw (07496 163027) and Matthew Iles (07984 965691)
