St. Peter’s Ashburnham

We worship each Sunday at 11 am and are always pleased to welcome visitors.

Our services generally follow the Church of England book of Common Worship. They are informal but orderly, and everyone has an opportunity to share what God is doing in their lives if they wish. Families with children are very welcome, and we have a Sunday Club for children aged 4+ each Sunday, which includes craft, Bible stories, songs and play in a safe environment. There is also a quiet area in the ‘upper room’ at St Peter’s that is available for parents/carers to take pre-school children during the service, which has toys, books and colouring materials available.

Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays we have Morning Worship/Prayer. On a 5th Sunday the congregations at Ashburnham and Penhurst join together for a Joint Sunday Service, alternating between the two churches.

Although we are in the grounds of Ashburnham Place we are the Parish Church for Ashburnham Village. The Church is open daily and can be accessed from the A271 by coming down the drive towards Ashburnham Place.

Our Vicar (Priest in Charge) is Revd Gary Cregeen.

To make a general enquiry or to find out about baptisms (christenings), weddings, renewal of marriage vows, and funerals (either at Ashburnham or Penhurst Churches) please contact Revd Gary: 01424 612324 or Gary@GandJCregeen.co.uk
