The weather stayed dry for the Fair on Saturday 29th July. Huge thanks to all who helped and everyone who came along on the day. A total of £6,317 was raised from the Fair and Vintage Motorcycle Show, £4,737 for the New Village Hall Fund and £1,579 for the Kent, Surrey, Sussex Air Ambulance.
Ashburnham and Penhurst Parish Council are giving commemorative mugs to any child aged sixteen or under in either village as part of our Coronation celebrations. The mugs can be collected in person at the Village Picnic on Sunday 8th May at the Sports Field. If you would like a mug but won’t be at the event please get in touch with Jay Ashworth – firstname.lastname@example.org
We are celebrating the Coronation with a special commemorative service led by Revd Gary Cregeen at the Sports Pavilion on Sunday 7th May at 12.30pm followed by a toast to our new King. We will then gather for a community picnic and games afternoon on the Sports Field – do come and join us!
