Country Fair, Flower Show and Fun Dog Show

Roll up! Roll up!  For the Ashburnham and Penhurst Country Fair, Flower Show and Fun Dog show.

The 2018 fair will be even bigger and even better (and almost certainly drier!) than last year.

There’ll be:
cake, tea, pimms, ice cream and a barbeque;
hook-a-duck, dressing-up competition, treasure hunt, story telling;
interesting cars, interesting tractors and interesting motorbikes;
bric-a-brac, books and CDs, cards, gifts, jewellery and glassware;
live music from the fantastic Garry Blakeley;
welly throwing and lawn mower racing;
demonstration of scything and woodcraft;
an opportunity to throw wet sponges at a Parish Council member in the stocks;
doggy treats, a visit from the local hounds, and of course our own Fun Dog Show.
